How to Build a Perfect Event Day

Arrive early, leave late: Easier parking in the morning; lingering after the rush makes exits calmer.
Anchor + extras: Choose one headliner event, then add a small stop—coffee and murals, a neighborhood park, or quick vintage browsing.
Shade and sip: Pack water, sunscreen, and a light layer for breezy evenings.
Kid-friendly plan: Favor venues with nearby restrooms and open plaza/grass space for breaks.
Reservations help: For busy weekends, book dining a week out and aim for off-peak slots.

Sample One-Day Plan

9:00 am Coffee and pastry on a patio
10:00 am Short mural stroll and a few photos
12:00 pm Tacos or a shared platter for lunch
2:00 pm Headliner event (gallery run, film block, match session)
5:30 pm Golden-hour snack and relax
7:00 pm Dinner; check for live music after
